What's your everyday look?

I seldom do FOTDs, mainly because I don't wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis. I'm not very adventurous when it comes to eyeshadows and blushes, and I would rather spend more time and money on skincare--except perhaps for lipsticks! However, most of my days don't call for a bare face, so over time I've managed to get a routine down pat. This is how I look like most days:

Products used:

Clockwise from left:
Red Logo F.A.B. BB Cream SPF 27 with Etude House duo fiber brush
Maybelline gel liner in brown with accompanying brush
Maybelline The Magnum Volum' Express in brown
In2IT eyebrow powder (middle shade) with Marionnaud brow duo
Shu Uemura eyelash curler
MAC lustre lipstick in Plumful
Skin Food Carrot Pact in #23 Natural Beige with The Body Shop foundation kabuki

I prefer to use browns over blacks these days, since I dyed my hair auburn (not sure if it's obvious in the pictures) and black, especially on the eyebrows, looks a little too stark at times. I'm thinking of getting a different brow product to complement this, though. I'd appreciate product suggestions for redheads if you have any! :)

This was also my first time trying out the F.A.B. BB cream, which is from Red Logo, a direct selling subsidiary of my company. When I first got it I wasn't sure about it, but it was love after taking these pictures--no obvious white cast compared to my other BB creams! I'll do a more thorough review when I've used it for awhile.

Happy girl!

What I do change quite often compared to my makeup staples is my lipcolor. MAC Plumful is my lipstick du jour, after seeing Temptalia's swatch of it, obsessing over it, enabling someone to get it, and finally snapping up a tube myself. Hee! It's darker in real life than in pictures and is quite pigmented for a lustre finish. If you're interested in getting one yourself, I know Kira's selling a second tube for less than retail. *wink*

Now, bonus pictures! I wore this look to a dinner with my family in Chelsea Market Cafe last night, where I had this:

"Low and Slow" Merlot Braised U.S. Beef Short Ribs. Heaven.

Adorable loose-leaf tea strainer! I need something like this in my life. Where can I get one??
That's all, folks! Let me know what you use for everyday in the comments! :)

  7. Kitten, haha thank you! The bb cream is covering redness and uneven skintone, so I need at least a layer of powder when I go out :)
