Hi, I'm alive. Just really busy, but I had to put this one up! :)
Are you a planner person? Planners and organizers have been in my life since highschool, when a friend (hi Makee!) gifted me with one. It was one of those planners with cute images and designs on the pages, much like the Korean or Chinese planners we see around stores today. I've never gone without one since.
My planners since college, most recent at the top. |
Aside from the fact that planners help keep my schedule in order, they're my journals. I love writing down quotes, lyrics, and thoughts that occur to me throughout the day. They're like scrapbooks that make themselves (and planning out how to lay-out a scrapbook is hard, believe me). Getting a planner these days sometimes comes up expensive, but it doesn't have to be!
Meet the Moonleaf 2012 planner. It's 300 pesos in all Moonleaf tea shop branches and is all you'll need in an organizer. It's small enough to carry around but doesn't limit your writing at all. There's a black version too but I believe it's limited edition. Allow me to share with you my Moonleaf planner photodump (click to enlarge):
The cover is made of study cardboard, which you can even doodle on if you like. |
This nifty thing is a bookmark |
The planner is inspired by the moon, hence the cover! |
Each month placer has a pretty design. This one's for March |
A horizontal weekly layout allows you to see all you need to do in a week, plus there's a to-do list. I really appreciate that the Saturday and Sunday tabs are as big as the Monday - Friday ones, because sometime's they're even busier than the week. The pages are a bit thin, though, so I'd lay off the sign pens since they might just bleed over the pages. Moon phases are also indicated.
The notes pages have grids, lending themselves to drawing as well as writing. |
Yup, you don't need to drop a couple thousand grand for coupons! The Full Moon coupon is a nice Moonleaf touch. |
For the Pokemon--er, milk tea collector in all of us. |
To make up for all this lost time, I'm giving away this Moonleaf Planner! If you already have your planner for 2012 this could be a thoughtful post-Christmas gift/pahabol :) Here's what you have to do:
- Leave a comment telling me your top makeup or skincare product for 2011 and why it is so.
- Give me a name and a valid email address that I can use to contact you if you win.
- For bonus entries, spread the word about this giveaway through a public tweet, Facebook wall post, or +1 on Google+! 1 bonus entry for each, and should be only done once. Leave a link in your comment so I can track it.
- Giveaway is open to Philippine residents only, sorry! Though if you're from outside PH, I'd love to hear about your top product :)
And that's it! Easy peasy. The giveaway ends at midnight on January 14, 2012. I'll announce the winner the day after, which will be decided through random.org. :) Good luck!
I love lipsticks and lip balms, so my top make up product for 2011 is my MAC bombshell lipstick which my mom gave. I love the subtle pink and how it looks in photos.

I'm caught between Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Offbeat pink and Nivea Fruity Shine Lipstick in Strawberry, both lip products as beautiful lips can instantly add life and vigor. Pretty inexpensive too.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, but I guess I'm going for EB Matte lipstick as I really love how it goes with any look I try. :)

I love eyeliners. I keep it simple, so I use the black eyeliner from Avon. :)

Human Nature's sunflower beauty oil is my top skincare product for 2011 (and my one must-have for 2012 too!) because it's all goodness, all-natural and amazingly usable in many ways -- it moisturizes face and skin, lightens dark spots, makes hair shiny, leaves skin soft... the list could go on. Plus it's Philippine-made!

ReplyDeleteI'm not the type of girl that uses make-up/s daily but on the other hand, I protect my skin using the Myra E Hand and Body Lotion. I love the smell and it's not greasy like the other lotions.

I'm not really into makeup very much but the Nivea Soft Rose lip balm is a must have for me because not only does it do the job of keeping my lips soft and smooth, it also gives a natural pink color on my lips.

My top product would be Revlon Colorstay foundation...it matches my skin well, stays put, doesn't make me look like i have a mask on, and it's not expensive!

My fave products for 2011 are my Lip Smacker flavored lip balms. I have one in Coca-Cola and another one in Sprite. Aside from keeping my lips moisturized, they smell YUMMY!

I loved my recent buy of Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in wine. I don't use it so often but having vibrant red lips whenever appropriate (like parties and such) really gives you confidence.

I love the simplicity of that planner =)
ReplyDelete@Jenine Semilla yes, it's simple but super useful! And great if you're the doodling type! :)
ReplyDeleteI am loving The Face Shop lipstick in PK103. It just flatters my skin tone. :D

would be Dove Beauty Moisture Moisture Milk. It's a moisturizing body wash which I've been using for sometime already. Non-drying unlike some hard soaps and okay for sensitive skin.
